Orbex ("we", "us", "our") is a brand of Nexarois Digital Omar Ibrahim, Switzerland. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit orbexring.com or place an order, how we use and store it, and the rights you have over it. It applies alongside the privacy policy of our platform provider Shopify (see Section 6).

1. Who we are (data controller)

2. Data we collect

  • Order & contact data: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number (optional), and the details of your order — needed to deliver your purchase and provide support.
  • Payment data: handled directly by Shopify and its supported payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and pages viewed — used for security, fraud prevention, and basic analytics. Your approximate location (country level) is used to show you the correct currency and shipping options.

3. How we use your data

  • To process, ship, and deliver your order and provide customer support.
  • To process your payment securely through Shopify.
  • To show prices in your local currency based on your location.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with our legal, customs, and tax obligations.
  • To improve our website and products through aggregated analytics.

4. We do not sell your data

Your personal data is not sold, rented, or traded to any third party. The data you provide stays within our systems and the systems of the service providers we need to run this store (see Section 6). It is stored securely and only for as long as necessary (see Section 7).

5. Cookie Policy

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use the following categories:

  • Essential cookies: required for the shop to function — shopping cart, checkout, secure login, and fraud prevention. These cannot be switched off.
  • Preference cookies: remember your choices such as country, language, and currency (including the automatic currency suggestion based on your location).
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Where required by law, non-essential cookies are only set after you have given your consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the cookie settings on our site, and you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the shop (such as the cart and checkout) from working.

6. Data sharing & processors

We share personal data only with the service providers required to operate this store, each bound by data-protection obligations:

  • Shopify: our store, checkout, and order processing run on Shopify. Shopify processes your data on our behalf and under its own privacy policy, which you can read here: Shopify Privacy Policy.
  • Payment providers: the provider you choose at checkout processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
  • Shipping carriers: receive your name and delivery address to deliver your order.

7. Data retention

We keep order and invoice data for as long as required by Swiss commercial and tax law (generally 10 years), then delete or anonymize it. Other data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for the purposes above.

8. Your rights (GDPR & Swiss FADP)

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
  • Request a portable copy of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@orbexring.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. International transfers

Our processors (such as Shopify) may store data outside Switzerland or the EEA. In those cases, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions are relied upon to protect your data.

10. Children

Our store is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
